Getting Started with SHOW by SkyCity Rewards

To start using our tables or gaming machines at Queenstown, you’ll need a SHOW by SkyCity Rewards account. Once signed up, your membership also gives you access at Auckland and Hamilton. You can join us on-site at Level 2, 16-24 Beach Street or complete the process online and finish when you visit.

All guests must be at least 20 years old. Valid photo ID is required - we’re serious about keeping things above board.

Sign Up at the Casino

Just head straight to our membership desk, and check the opening hours before you visit. Bring valid photo ID such as a passport or NZ or AU driver licence.

Usually, the whole thing takes around 3-5 minutes. We’ll have your documents checked, set up your account, and hand off a physical rewards card - ready for play right on the spot. Current Premier Rewards members can collect a SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card, and valid photo ID is required at collection.

The card is required to play tables or machines.

Quick Online Pre-Registration

Prefer to sort things out early? There’s an online form on our site. Enter your legal name, contact details, residential address, and other details as prompted. Provide your valid photo ID as part of the sign-up process.

You’ll get a confirmation by email. But - and this is key - you’ll still need to visit us to pick up your card. We’ll double-check your physical ID against your form before anything’s issued. Members who opt in can access draws, competitions, and great value food and beverage offers.

Sign up can be completed online, at a SHOW by SkyCity kiosk, or with assistance at a Guest Services Desk on the main casino floor.

Why Rewards Cards Are Required

Without your rewards card, neither machines nor tables are available for play. Insert your card before starting on a machine. For table games, show it to the dealer each round.

Here’s what the card actually does: it supports carded play and rewards collection. Carded play is live, and a SHOW by SkyCity card or valid Premier Rewards card is needed to play.

Using Quick Pay

After you’ve signed up, Quick Pay is available. This streamlines cash around the gaming floor. Load cash on your card at kiosks, jump between machines with just your card, or cash out at the desk. You can also take a look at past transactions through us.

Quick Pay can only be used here in the casino. Every transaction’s in person, always.

Lose your card? No stress. We just repeat the ID check at the desk and issue a new one.

What Games Are on Offer

Once you’ve registered, our full set of legal games opens up. We operate gaming machines and table games, with the available selection subject to venue offerings.

If any rules are unfamiliar, just ask one of us. Staff are happy to walk through basics with newcomers, especially during quieter afternoons.

Managing Your Rewards Card

Your card stays property of SkyCity. Hang onto it, don’t loan it, and definitely tell us if it vanishes. If you lose or damage it, ask the team about a replacement after an ID check. Balance transfer occurs once identity is confirmed.

Replacement handling may depend on venue procedures.

Your card remains valid according to SkyCity account rules and venue procedures.
